About the Founder
Michael Jones is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) with extensive experience across tax, accounting, audit, and business and financial advisory. He began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in New York City and most recently worked in it's Atlanta office. Over the entirety of his career, Michael has worked with clients across a range of industries and backgrounds.
A proud graduate of Howard University (BBA in Accounting) and Georgia State University (MS in Professional Accountancy), and a holder of a Certificate in Financial Planning from Emory University, Michael combines deep technical knowledge with a passion for empowering others. He is a member of the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA), the Georgia Society of CPAs (GSCPA), and the National Association of Black Accountants (NABA), among other professional and fraternal organizations.
Michael founded Jones Global CPA with a clear mission: to offer accessible, world-class tax and advisory services to entrepreneurs, business owners, and globally mobile individuals often overlooked by traditional firms. What began as a response to a gap in the market has become a trusted advisory platform — built to help clients navigate complexity, grow their enterprises, and make confident financial decisions with long-term impact.
When he's not leading strategy for clients, Michael enjoys traveling, reading, exercising, spending time with his dog Leo, and connecting with loved ones.
